SMOFcon Europe is also SMOFcon 39. We are choosing to be known principally as SMOFcon Europe to emphasise our location and our distinctive approach to SMOFcon. Lovers of detail will want to note that, because of the coronavirus pandemic, SMOFcon 38, which was due to take place in Montreal in 2020, has been postponed until 2022. This means that SMOFcon38 will take place after SMOFcon 39!
